The Process

Animation type:

Main3D + Deck3D

Project timline:

8 weeks

Review:

2 zoom calls + 5 e-mail feedback sessions

Team:

Find out which of our 26 scientific animation options works best for investor relations and communications:

For this project, we followed our standard production process, which has been refined over hundreds of projects. The process includes five main steps and four intermediate review steps, giving clients complete control over the final result, with only a few Zoom calls and 2-4 feedback sessions over email. This approach is particularly useful for early-stage private and public companies without a dedicated communications team, where the C-suite typically oversees animation projects. Our team of qualified PhD or MD experts is involved in every stage of the planning, discussion, and production process, making this possible.

Why did we use this
animation type?

We combined Main 3D and Deck3D to balance scientific depth, visual impact, production efficiency and speed.

Main 3D was used for the core mechanistic narrative. This format allows us to move seamlessly from the anatomical and cellular level down to molecular interactions, making it ideal for clearly explaining complex biology while maintaining a strong cinematic presence. It is particularly effective for moments where scientific credibility and memorability are critical — such as high-level investor storytelling or discussions with KOLs.

Deck3D was used to support the same scientific story in a more streamlined, presentation-optimized format. Deck3D retains full 3D scientific rigor but uses simplified environments, controlled camera movement, and a clear left-to-right visual flow. This makes it highly efficient for investor decks, internal presentations, and situations where clarity, speed, and consistency across slides are essential.

By combining these two formats, we ensured that the project delivered a high-impact, cinematic core narrative where it matters most, and fast, clear, and highly reusable visuals optimized for decks and ongoing communications. This hybrid approach allowed the client to communicate the science consistently across audiences and touchpoints, without compromising accuracy, clarity, or timelines.
