3D MoA on Dual Targeting of Cancer Glycans and Lipids

Vitruviae required a scientific animation to communicate its differentiated targeting strategy and broader therapeutic platform for investor and scientific audiences. Our scientific team first analyzed the underlying biology of glycan- and lipid-based targeting before developing an initial script, which was refined in collaboration with the client prior to production. The process followed a structured pipeline—from storyboards to animatics to final renders—allowing the client to review key milestones while minimizing time demands.

To clearly illustrate both the limitations of protein-based targeting and Vitruviae’s dual targeting approach, we developed a visual system built around 3D compositions, molecular detail, and split-screen comparisons. Because the science spans multiple scales, the animation progresses from simplified cellular environments into molecular cut-ins, where scientifically accurate models—developed with input from our scientific team—represent glycans, lipids, and engineered therapeutic constructs. This unified visual language was extended across the full platform—VTRU100, VTRU200, VCAR300, and VRAD600—connecting targeting, immune engagement, and payload delivery within a consistent framework.
