The two original animations were developed in parallel, following the same four-stage review process used in our standard workflow. While intermediate reviews are typically completed within 48 hours, the timeline was extended to give the client approximately one week at each stage to consolidate feedback across both animations.
At a later stage, the client returned to update the CAN-2409 animation. This additional phase focused on enhancing the visuals and expanding the explanation of the technology and its mechanism for targeting prostate cancer. As part of our medical & scientific communication services, we adapted the existing animation to incorporate the updated scientific story while maintaining continuity with the original work.
Why did we use this
animation type?
We used our gold standard 3D style with elements of high-end 3D and infographic 2D animation because different key messages required different approaches. Regular 3D was used to visualize anatomical objects and cellular interactions, while high-end 3D was employed to show detailed and scientifically accurate molecular animation of complex viral vectors in the core of the depicted technologies.
During these project we made scientifically accurate models of adenoviral vector and a much more complex herpes simplex viral vector with envelope, inner proteins and DNA. 2D infographic elements used in the animations illustrated pipelines and schematic gene constructs.
