The objective was to design a scientific presentation that could clearly and credibly communicate Diakonos’ differentiated immunotherapy platform to investors, clinicians, and strategic partners. The presentation needed to convey complex biological mechanisms and clinical data while maintaining clarity, narrative structure, and visual consistency appropriate for high-stakes scientific and investor audiences.

Visual Science partnered closely with Diakonos’ scientific team to translate complex immunology, clinical protocols, and trial data into a clear, science-driven presentation. Given the previously documented limitations of dendritic cell vaccines—particularly in generating durable cytotoxic immune responses—the presentation required a precise visual narrative to clearly articulate these challenges and demonstrate how Diakonos’ double-loading strategy addresses them.
Building on a previously delivered scientific animation for Diakonos, we entered the project with a strong understanding of both the underlying technology and the core scientific message, and leveraged existing 3D assets to ensure visual continuity across materials. While this prior collaboration provided a strong foundation, the key creative challenge was in developing a cohesive system of 2D graphics that extended the established 3D visual language into a clear, scalable presentation format.
Outcome
The final presentation provided Diakonos with a cohesive, investor-ready scientific narrative that supported fundraising, clinical trial expansion, and partner discussions. It positioned the company as a differentiated leader in dendritic cell immunotherapy while demonstrating how rigorous science and thoughtful presentation design can work together to build confidence and clarity for audiences.
